December Sales and Deals

Ending the year on an appropriately low note, the number of listings going to contract in the towns this blog covers dropped quite a bit in December according to the WPMLS. But three previously-featured Hot Properties were among the chosen ones (interestingly, all three were in Croton). On the sales front, the Katonah listing shows that well-priced fixers can still go quickly and close to the asking; the Mt. Kisco listing indicates that the right asking price can still spark a bidding war; and the Croton listing shows that—to my mind at least—there are some great deals out there.

I agree that the Croton house on the river was a great buy at that price. Also interesting that the modern ranch one got a buyer so quickly.
