May Deals

April showers bring... May deals? The number of contracts signed in May in the towns this blog covers jumped quite a bit over April—and doubled compared to the lethargic numbers earlier this year. In addition, the number of homes in the over-a-million range finding buyers has greatly increased. Is this just a springtime blip or a sign of recovery? Stay tuned... On the other hand, only two previously-featured Hot Properties got lucky—although a few new listings that I had planned on featuring have already gone to contract, not that that counts.
