60's Style in the Village

Most modern homes in the area are found outside of the towns, enjoying the natural scenery and lovely properties, but not within walking distance of any stores. This interesting abode is an exception. Built in 1960, the funky home boasts plenty of mod style and is located in the Captain Merritts Hill section of Mt. Kisco, a short walk from the train and everything else. The 3,600 square foot, 3 bedroom house has a very large and appealing main living space, with walls of windows. The half-acre property is very pleasant and has a nice patio area. At $14,675, the taxes are relatively low for the size. The big con is that the lot backs onto the Saw Mill Parkway. Other than that, this one has got lots to like. $829,000

They say after a while you just tune out the noise of traffic. I wouldn't spend my own money testing that theory, though. Too bad -- it's a very stylish house.

Very nice--and very well staged!
