Katonah Colonial

Located on a sweet street just steps from the village mews, this front porch charmer is quite appealing. Built in 1870, the 2,000 square foot house is perhaps short on bedrooms—there are only two—but it has wonderful original details, stained glass, and a nice kitchen. There's also a large family room extension, which was built in 2001 and is not my style at all (perhaps that could be converted to a master bedroom?). The house is set on 0.24 of an acre lot and has a relatively low tax bill of $13,470. What do you think of the price? $749,000

Its a very cute house in a great spot. If you want village living, this is perfect. The price seems just slightly too high--should sell for about $725,000.
