Liz Johnson's
Small Bites blog reports that the
Flying Pig restaurant in Mount Kisco will have a 12 course tasting on
Wednesday with 90% of the ingredients coming from nearby
Cabbage Hill Farm. While enjoying the farm's lamb, chicken, and beef, diners can the learn about their sustainable practices. There will also be trout, tilapia, bass, and greens produced in the farm's aquaponic greenhouse (which was featured in
Scientific American).
