Food Buzz

Some choice words about the Peekskill Brewery, which just marked it's first anniversary:

"[The Brewery] explores the taste connections between beer and food. The delicious, melt-in-your-mouth braised pork belly appetizer is slow-cooked in dark beer. Mussels are steamed in a creamy Belgian ale broth to tasty effect... There’s even a list of dessert beers."
The New York Times, which gave the restaurant a "Good" rating.

“The bar is a little bit rock ‘n roll, the dining room is a little bit country.”
–Keith Berardi, co-owner of the Brewery, as quoted in Eater, Westchester Magazine’s food blog.
