Best features: The property, on one of the nicest roads in the area, is truly stunning—26 acres of woods, fields, stone walls, and gorgeous vistas. The house is dripping with mid-century style and boasts many wonderful features typical of the era. And the taxes are quite low for the amount of land.
Downside: It's not a lot of house for 4 million bucks, and it would be a horrible crime to knock it down. Adding on would require an architect with a good sense of the nuances of the style.

Yes, it did strike me that there were many more pictures of the property than of the house.
The realtor is definitely emphasizing the land and the potential for an estate compound. But the house is fabulous--and 2,500 square feet isn't exactly small.
