Caramoor's First Fall Festival

Caramoor has always been a summer destination. But this year the music center is making a play for a longer season with its first Fall Festival. The festivities kick off Friday evening with the New York Philharmonic performing Beethoven’s Seventh Symphony and Fourth Piano Concerto, and features pianist Emanuel Ax. The Caramoor Calvalcade on Saturday offers fun for the whole family with performances by Polygraph Lounge, the Escher String Quartet, and chamber music in the Sunken Garden. On Saturday night, Chick Corea will perform in a rare solo appearance. The festival concludes on Sunday with a performance by Sumi Jo and Will Crutchfield in the Rosen House Music Room.
