Excuse my ignorance, but why is this road "storied"?

Agree on the kitchen.

Well, "storied" may have been overreaching. But College Hill Road was created at the turn of the century by a group of psychology professors from Teacher's College in Manhattan (still one of the foremost teacher's colleges in the nation) who bought the land together and built the original Tudor and colonial style homes. I believe it functioned as something of a commune in the beginning. So it does have, at least, an interesting back story.

This does look like a nice one, if only I had unlimited resources.
