Pop-Up Art

The Hudson Valley Center for Contemporary Art's 2008 Artist-in-Resident, Amsterdam based Karen Sargsyan created the site-specific sculptural installations in the exhibition "Abroad Understanding." Sunday's New York Times said that the sculptures are "intricately constructed from layers of colored paper and are remarkable for their playfulness and dynamism." Through May 24.
