Few things make me sadder than a lovely and interesting house in need of care and attention. Especially one in a great location. Set on an acre in the heart of the gorgeous Mt. Airy section of Croton, this 1777 gem is evidently in need of serious polishing. The 3,000 square foot home has 5 bedrooms and 3 baths. The listing says that the house has new mechanicals and a renovated kitchen, but the only interior photos are of the newer extension--which is far from appealing.
