Here are some activities and events in Northern Westchester this weekend:

Bird Walk Learn about the different breeding behaviors and songs of local birds. Saturday, 8:00. Muscoot Farm

Meet the Authors The annual event features a variety of local writers. The children's portion starts at 10:00 and includes readings by Nick Bruel (Bad Kitty, Who is Melvin Bubble?) and Jerry Pinkney (Noah’s Ark, The Little red Hen). The teen portion features a workshop by Elisabeth Wolfe and Annabel Monaghan (Click, A Girl’s Guide to Knowing What you Want and Making it Happen). The adult portion takes place from 12:00 to 3:00 and includes readings and discussions by Alison Gilbert (Always Too Soon), Susan Breen (The Fiction Class), and Jeff Gordinier (X Saves The World).
