Something's Brewing in Peekskill

Peekskill's waterfront will soon get an exciting new addition—and potential tourist attraction. The Peekskill Brewery, scheduled to open this spring, will serve gourmet pub food and craft-brewed beer that is "is local, hard to find or just a good brew," according to the web site. The Brewery will also brew and serve it's own beer on-site. It will be housed in two connected structures, one on Hudson Street and one on Railroad Avenue, which are currently being renovated. The location is perfect—right off of Route 9 and steps from the train station and the Riverfront Green Park. With any luck, this will be a great success—and another step in the evolution of a great town.
