This Week: Monday-Wednesday

Here's my first round-up of weekday events, with a second installment to come on Wednesday. This was time-consuming to pull together, so let me know if you like it.

Fall Festival Nature Exhibit

Nature Strollers Naturalist Laurel Dodge leads the group on a one-hour hike on stroller- and toddler-friendly trails. Tuesday, 9:30. 845-534-5506. Hudson Highlands Nature Museum

Aldrich Buddies Led by a Museum educator, children are introduced to artwork through gallery games and questions, followed by the reading of a storybook that relates to the artwork. Children and adults then participate in making an art project. Ages 3 to 5. Tuesday, 10:00. Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum

Meet the Author: Green Architecture Local author and architect, Michael Molinelli, presents “How Green is Green?” He’ll define “green” or “sustainable” architecture, and discuss the history of green architecture, starting from the last ice age. Wednesday, 7:30 pm. Katonah Village Library

Neuberger: Lectures, Panels, and Dialogues A series of special performances and lectures. On Wednesday at 6:30 pm artist Jillian Mcdonald will speak about her recent work exploring celebrity obsession and the marketing of fear in horror films. At 7:00 there is "Celebrating Poetry, a Sonic and Visual Collaboration,” with readings by a number of artists. Neuberger Museum of Art
