Beginning this Friday, the Jacob Burns Film Center will be celebrating the work of Sidney Lumet, which spans 60 years and includes over 40 films. Through September 30, the center will show 12 classics, including 12 Angry Men, Serpico, Dog Day Afternoon, The Verdict, and Network. Just thinking about it makes me happy as hell.
