Built in 1987, this house seems to have captured the moment when tastes in residential design where (sadly) shifting from contemporary to traditional. While the structure has the vocabulary of a classic house, it also possesses the openness and crispness of a contemporary. The combo seems to work quite well in this 3,000 square foot, 3 bedroom house. The big draw here, however, is the view of the Hudson River, which looks pretty amazing. Located in Cortlandt (with a Croton address and Hendrick Hudson schools), the house is set on 12 lovely acres and is across the street from Oscawana Park.
